The Centre for Molecular Nanoscience offers both taught postgraduate and research postgraduate study (subject to appropriate vacancies) to both Home and International students. The University provides first class leisure facilities. Sports activities cater for everyone from recreational users to top athletes and facilities include a sports centre, fitness studio and playing fields.

The Students' Union is one of the most active in the country, with a shopping mall, bars, games complex, concert venue, radio station, newspaper, theatre company and award winning nightclub. There are also over 200 student societies.
